HOW YOU CAN HELP

1. Sign our online petition and encourage others to do the same

2. Speak with your local officials regarding your feelings about the development and request their public support of the opposition

3. Write about the project and your opposition to it in the local newspapers and encourage others to do the same

4. Attend (and encourage others to attend) all public hearings relating to this project - the next 2 public hearings of the Conservation Commission are currently scheduled for December 14th and January 5th at 7:00 pm at the Roger Ludlowe Middle School auditorium. However, as these meetings are subject to change, please visit the Town of Fairfield web site for a current schedule of town meetings. Look for the upcoming 'Conservation Commission, Inland Wetlands' meeting.

5. Make a contribution to the PUBRock Legal Fund:

In order to stop the proposed BRCC development, legal representation and expert advice & testimony are CRUCIAL. The information we gather from experts provides us valuable ammunition in our fight against this project. Current estimates for legal, expert, and consulting fees are between $25,000 and $100,000.

If you live anywhere in Fairfield, this development will negatively impact you. However, this impact will be greater and more directly felt for residents of the neighborhoods surrounding BRCC, including: Black Rock Turnpike, Lakewood Drive, Lindamir Lane, Deepwood Road, Rock Ridge, Rolling Ridge, Joan Drive, the roads of "Indian Village", and Lake Hills Association residents. Property values of homes in these areas will be significantly negatively impacted if this project is approved as proposed.

Your financial support is an investment in your property value, your quality of life, and the character of your community -- every dollar of support toward our efforts helps.

Checks can be made out to "PUBRock" and sent to:
